WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Robins Air Force Base is seeking full-time engineering and IT employees.

The 402nd Software Engineering Group is appealing to anyone with a bachelor’s degree in multiple fields to help support the base

Sarah Martin says they’re looking for “computer scientists, computer engineers, electrical engineers, and software engineers, so if we’re looking for those qualified people,”

Robert Hill is a group supervisor and says the jobs are endless.

“We have a wide variety of jobs, a wide variety of projects, from ISR ground systems — that’s intelligence surveillance reconnaissance — to integrated radar systems. We run the gamut,” Hill says.

The group is responsible for creating the latest technologies to help American fighters in their missions.

“It’s bigger than ourselves, it’s bigger than the product we make. It’s the security of the nation and what we do overseas that helps the fighters,” Hill adds.

Work efforts are aimed at keeping up with technological advancements from abroad.

“We’re trying to stay ahead of our competition, and all of our software engineers here, they contribute to that every day,” he says.

Daily work includes working with programs like Java and Python, and some work with artificial intelligence.

“We’re automating a lot of what used to be manual, eliminating a lot of human error as much as possible,” Hill adds.

They welcome anyone who has a bachelor’s degree to come out.

“If you have experience in the military, any branch of the military, veteran, whatever. We love seeing that, and we love having you on base as well,” Martin says.

The job fair will take place at the Project Synergy building from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Their address is 100 Park Place Drive.
