Each day there will be free hands-on activities in the Forum Explorium between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., with a pre-bookable quiet time from 9:30 a.m.

There’s plenty for adults to do too, including Boogie on the Brain at The Halls on February 14, with an evening of psychology, science and dance.

There are also two mini pop-up festivals at East Norfolk Sixth Form College in Gorleston on February 13 and Gresham’s in Holt on February 15.

Claire Mutimer, producer of the Norwich Science Festival, said: “We are delighted that our brochures are full of inspiring events and that many prizes are free or subsidized.”
